HydroPlanter Flex

Flexible rain garden system for streets, highways and development schemes

HydroPlanter Flex Rain Garden System

HydroPlanter Flex is a fully integrated rain garden system designed to simplify the delivery of sustainable drainage within streets, highways and development projects. Developed in response to demand for larger rain gardens and greater flexibility of shape, the system provides a complete package of components within a single coordinated solution.

Rain gardens are increasingly used to support the four pillars of SuDS: water quantity, water quality, amenity and biodiversity. HydroPlanter Flex helps designers deliver these benefits through a cost-effective and highly adaptable planted drainage system suitable for both retrofit and new-build applications.

Simple to design and adapt to site constraints, HydroPlanter Flex reduces complexity during specification, design and installation while helping projects meet regional SuDS requirements.

Designed for Flexible Rain Garden Design

HydroPlanter Flex is designed for projects requiring greater flexibility than conventional modular rain garden systems. The system allows rain gardens to be adapted to available space while maintaining a coordinated package of hydraulic, planting and drainage components.

Suitable for highways, developments and public realm projects, HydroPlanter Flex can be configured around site constraints while supporting stormwater management close to source.

By combining drainage, planting and engineered system components within a single solution, HydroPlanter Flex helps simplify the delivery of nature-based SuDS infrastructure.

Part of the HydroPlanter Range

Introducing HydroPlanter and HydroPlanter Max

Selecting the right HydroPlanter system depends on the available space, hydraulic requirements and whether infiltration is appropriate.

HydroPlanter Flex forms part of GreenBlue Urban’s wider HydroPlanter rain garden range, providing a more adaptable solution for projects requiring greater flexibility of shape and layout.

HydroPlanter provides a modular rain garden solution for standard installations, while HydroPlanter Max is designed for projects requiring larger rain garden features and increased water storage capacity.

HydroPlanter Flex bridges the gap between these approaches, allowing rain gardens to be shaped and configured around site-specific constraints while maintaining the benefits of an integrated system.
