ArborFlow Structural SuDS Tree Pit System
ArborFlow is a structural SuDS tree pit system designed to integrate surface water management within load-bearing tree planting infrastructure.
Developed from GreenBlue Urban’s structural tree pit systems, ArborFlow allows surface water to enter the tree pit while maintaining the structural performance required for streets, public realm and development environments.
By combining structural tree pit infrastructure with engineered drainage layers, the system enables stormwater to be stored and filtered within the soil volume while supporting healthy urban tree growth.
This allows tree pits to function as part of sustainable drainage strategies while maintaining the structural requirements of paved landscapes.
Supporting Tree Growth and Surface Water Management

ArborFlow creates a structured tree pit environment where uncompacted soil can support root development while also providing space for temporary stormwater storage, filtration and controlled movement through the system.

ArborSystem provides the structural tree pit framework at the pavement interface, while ArborFlow incorporates drainage components that allow surface water to enter and move through the soil system.
